Kinda impromptu poll here-- what animal have you hit with your HHR and what kind of damage was done to it-- money wise ??

I was attacked by BAMBI past friday morning --8/29 -- done right at $1500.00 damage-- right fender and pass door...

Yep. I think the Deer Slayer is up around four deer now.

I hit a deer last November
It did about $5,600 in damage
and on that same road I hit a bird,
but I didnt find any damage from it.
On that same road I have seen about 16 deer, 12 wild turkeys, and 2 cows

yeah Bambi attacked me on this one... my drive to work is from the deep country to the city -- so I know this road is bad for deer -- seen one cross in front of me out of the corner of my eye and slowed down--figured another one was close by -- but I didnt think they would come out and "attack" me like that.. 5600---- that was a good bit of damage--- thankfully my deduct is only 250.00 plus my wife works at a body shop --so I am pretty much taken care of there.

Only a couple of sparrows in the HHR but the worst damage came last night without me hitting anything...

A skunk got whacked and it must have been a fresh kill because he let loose with all he had left....I drove by the carcass with my windows down.....BIG MISTAKE..now the inside of the HHR has skunk whiff in it...it still had it this morning so I drove to work in 50 degree temps with my windows down with the heat on...right now have the windows cracked a bit a work in hopes of getting rid of that stench...

I mean really How the F does that happen?

ohhh sorry Goose... i know that has to suck... but i guess you cant wash everything down in there with good ole mater juice--that would be a mess... but you can try the small bags of coffee-- if you like the smell of it-- it does a good job of soaking up sour smells-- also works great for smoke in cars and houses.. old fireman trick for getting the smell out of little ole ladies houses who burn the bacon and set the kitchen on fire..
