$1500 for an 87 Plymouth Sundance. Sold it for $1250 a couple years later, with no maintenance costs aside from regular oil changes.

I don't remember what I paid but it was an 89 Grand Am LE. I know I paid more than what it was actually worth.

My first car......300 big ones for a 1967 Dodge Coronet 440 fast back, with well over 100,000 miles on it. Man oh man it went fast, but I think I paid more for the oil I put in everyday than I did for gas.

My first new was a 1977 GMC Sierra 1500 regular cab 8' stepside bed. Had a straight six (250 I think), 3 on the tree, two wheel drive. It cost 3800 bucks right off the lot. I loved that thing! Smashed the hell out of it trying to get home during the Blizzard of '78 (For Sindy and Mike, that was a snow storm! 40" at my house). Had it repaired, drove it for another year. Decided a 4X4 was the ticket so I sold it and bought a Jeep CJ5.

My first car was a '56 VW paid $200. It had a canvas sunroof, oil leak and 2 weeks later no brakes.
First new car was '85 IROC-Z off showroom floor.

In 1988 I bought an 85 Chevy Spectrum with almost 80K miles for $2,500. I had it for 3 years, sold it for $500. I still see it on the road.
