First car was a '83 mustang L 4 cyl, 5 speed. tons of mileage and dents. Gave $1200 for it. Was something wrong with the tranny since you could go 50mph and stick it in 1st gear and lock the wheels up. Almost sold it to my future wife's dad for her first car before we started dating.

My first Car was a wedding present from my wife’s grandparents. It was a 1993 Chevy S-10 4.3L V6. It was red, but it was oxidize to more of a salmon color. I put some elbow grease into it to make it red again. I traded it in for the HHR. Everytime it rains I miss it, I would pitch sideways around corners at my work

I paid $2000 for a '89 Pontiac Sunbird. I had to get a personal loand from my Dad to buy it, took forever to pay that back.

I worked all summer at an used car lot washing cars and moving them to other lots. At the end of the summer the owner of the lot said you can have $1500 or you can take that car with you.

I was in Oregon at the time - brought it back to Cali and it ended up costing me another $1000 to get the dang thing Cal Smog legal!

But I LOVED HER!

My first car was a '93 Cadillac Seville STS w/ 4.6 L V8 Northstar. Paid $2200, not counting all the work it needed just to keep running. I still have it, but I am about to sell it since I got my HHR.
