My first car was a hand-me-down from my parents - 1966 Dodge Coronet 440 Station Wagon. The first car i bought was a 1977 Mercury Bobcat. Wish I had kept the station wagon!

The first auto i baught was a 89 ford ranger for for $900. when i got it the motor was a V3, it was actually supposed to be a 6 but the plugs were shot and the guy wasn't too smart. The truck was in great condition as long as you didn't look at the bed, one of my friends said the holes were big enought to fit bunny's though. It had a 2 inch lift and 5 speed, i will always miss that car but not even close to as much as i miss my 91 caprice wagon.

It was the first car i ever drove. I put a 93 9c1 motor in it, shaved the roof rack, the tailgate, and molded in a roll pan. Last year i put a jack stand through the frame and i decided it was time to let her go.

Talking

My first car was a 1953 Chevy (18,000 mi) that had a 'spun' rod bearing...
My Dad made a deal with me, work with him for the summer, (He was a General Contractor) & that would cover the car. I was 14 yrs old..He /we much later tore down the 235cu in Stove-bolt 6cyl. & had the crank journal 'turned' & sized for an o/s bearing..Just in time for my 16th Birthday & DL (course I was already driving his p/up tk.)
(His ulterior motive) was to get me interested in 'wrenching & rides' & not hanging on street corners, getting in trouble...

It worked (mostly), I'm still a Major GearHead some 38 yrs later... wish I still had the '53 chev though

Good memories of: "My First Car"
