There are still a few lots available, ranging from $797,990 to $826,990 It all depends on weather we want a view or not. I have a link at the bottom of the page, if you look at the elevations, we like elevation C

Hey KK! - Just a tip from one Cali homeowner to another (or your parents). We almost bought a Beazer home right before this one. I mean REALLY almost bought it. We signed, put the money down and it was being built. I even put another 4k into special wiring and insulation for my recording studio. We backed out at the last minute because the Beazer quality just wasn't up to snuff for us. Sad, but that's how we felt. When you're having a custom home built in a new neighborhood, there are a lot of things to think of besides floor plans and pricing.

I'm really glad we pulled out, because we now have much more home for the $$$ - and I really prefer our area to the one we were looking in before.

And...now we have room for all our HHR's:

I hope you guys find the home that will make you happy!

Thanks for the compliments everyone. This house is at our price limit. We have a lot of equity on our home. My parents bought it in 1988 for $182,000. Its current market value is about $630,000. So we have money to make a good down payment so that our mortgage payments are low. My dad is concerned about the property taxes though. At 1.1% for a $799,990 house is about $8700 per year. Thats over double what we pay now. I think that is the only thing kind of holding us back.
