Since my dad had a huge collection of old 45's... the first rock-n-roll I ever recall was a song my parent's claimed I would sing around the house as a small child was "Three Cool Cats" by the Coasters. I'll never forget that 45rpm on the old yellow ATCO label.

I'm still a huge oldies fan of music from the late 1950's and early 60's thanks to my parents from drilling it in my head from a very young age....

The first three (can't remember which came first) were: Beatles WHite Album, Led Zep 1 and Nirvana Nevermind.

Wow far out.

Google mentions Cheech and Chong, Dr. Demento (his show is where I first heard Frank Zappa) but I still have no clue about "Sexy Gherkin" By Capt. Shagnasty and the Loch Ness Pickles. I need a Utube link.

Old time Rock and Roll. Was the first song I ever tried to dance to.
