I really dont think it is........ looks like a blackberry pearl....... but what ever........ at one point of time one has to pay some what bucks..and the monthly fee isnt cheep...... but if one did get a deal so be it .......... the POINT IS one is that line.and there you go some people just want a hand out... and if they are so hard up which they could be then one need to check their priorites.... but their priorites are all screwed up......

i also think one needs to take a drug screen if you want to get welfare......

but thats my opinion and I can have that since it is AMERICA...... and as of today no one has taken it completely over.

Before the collapse of the economy... the cost of social assistance was pretty well the same as the policing budget. When young people are 22-23 years of age and have 4 kids and no job and never did have one, that's when I say enough already. He's probably just a drug dealer/user who's picked up a "free" Blackberry in return for some product. He's gotta have a place to stay to charge the thing up, too. Most of my indigent clients have cell phones and some even have ratty old cars. Doesn't mean they always have money for food.

I could care less. If they're serving Mushroom Risotto on the menu, I doubt they're a taxpayer funded soup kitchen anyway. Nobody gets turned away in the line at the door.

my blackberry was free new, and i pay the same rate as anyone else with a phone. no magical extra costs are tacked to my bill.

I would like to believe what you posted (again, since it's been around for a couple of years) but most of the provided links used for reference, do not work. They did not work EACH of the instances that that e-mail had been sent to me.


I did discover, about 1 year ago, that most of the numbered statements were shown to be "embellished" and taken out of context by one of the talking heads type 20/20 programs.

So I would say, for the most part, your "argument" is less than worthy.

However, if you can provide reliable and accessible references to the statements/accusations, I would like to have them. Please send them by PM.

Oh, by the way.......most of this e-mail posting is perpetuated by websites that are less than factual as well. Most of these web sites also absolutely raise hell about SS benefits goings to illegal aliens (think about this, you need to pay INTO SS to collect from it). US Senators collecting $250K/year in PENSION (allegedly more than they were paid for their service) and NOT paying into SS (also not true).

Most smartphones now days also tack on about $30 extra amonth on top of the monthly bill. I will say that even the poorest (minus homeless) have more then alot in 3 world countries. The poor have tvs, phone, computers w/ internet, cellphones, cable, ect. ect.

I refuse to pay the extra for a smart phone as I already pay $70/ month for mine and my wifes cell phones. (and only used 234 of the 700 minutes last month). I also don't pay for cable and alot of other things, but hey I can then afford other things. What people want to spend their money on is their personal decision, but we do need drug testing for welfare.
