It can be therapeutic to get something off your chest, and I don't think Doctor Phil drives a HHR. We might be serving a noble purpose, I haven't read any bad advise yet. Hockygirl don't let the stuff you can't, trade-in (relatives) bother you.

Venting emotions can be very beneficial to get over the situation at hand..

And my last .02, is this car really worth all this turmoil ?

Good Luck & Hope you can put this aside to enjoy a nice Christmas !!

It's only worth it if I can get the title, if he won't give up the title then I'll just have to focus on the plans for the HHR instead. I remember staring at this car every time I would go to my dad's house, I would just look at it. When I say I've been asking for it since I learned to talk I'm serious, before I knew what it was I wanted it. It's hard to give up on something that you've wanted for 20 years, especially when you were finally told it's yours. If I have to give up on it I will though.

With your permission, and his contact information, I will gladly write and send a carefully worded "What an a**hat !!!" letter to your father, directing him to this thread........

Thanks for the offer, but I sent him something similar, the day after and have yet to receive any kind of response, not that I actually expected one, in his mind he does no wrong, ever. Honestly I would settle for an apology and the title for the car and be over it, but I can't seem to even get an apology. I'm more than happy to focus my efforts on the HHR though, got some pretty neat plans for it
