Vicktoryspark, I hope you don't get the marriage penalty as bad as we got it. We lost $3000 in taxes due to getting married.

Well, I got my federal refund today, $383. Also paid car insurance today for 6 months, $384. What sucks is that only has the HHR and truck as storage, so I'll still owe more when I get them out. Guess that's what the state refund is for!

Michigan insurance is ridiculously pricey, I don't miss that part of the mitten at all.

Tis the season to bump:

Not sure what I'll be looking at this year. Had a total of 5 employers (for the same job). Still waiting on one before I can do them. Not sure how much being partially self employed for the last 2 months will affect them so we will see. If there is a return I'll just plop it into the savings account for the HHR payoff.
