Where have I been?
It's been an extremely eventful Christmas for me!! On Xmas eve I recieved the phone call that I've been waiting for. The kidney that I was tested for in the afternoon was a match and had my name on it. Was admitted to Jackson on Xmas eve at 11:00 pm. The surgery took place on Xmas day at about 7:00 pm. In surgery for about 4 1/2 hours. Awoke in ICU at about 8:00 the following morning. Was taken back to my room about 5:00 pm, suprising the nurses to be leaving ICU so soon. And only 3 days later, on my birthday, I was discharged from the hospital!! What was expected to be an 8 - 10 day stay only turned out to be 5 days!

You are supposed to name them! Is a good name.... at least she gave it a boy's name.... just think if she had named it Lisa or something!

Welcome back, my friend - Glad to hear you are doing well and that the surgery was successful. Weren't you supposed to get a labotomy while you were under?
