Ok, the Cardinals gave the Cubs the weekend series now it's up to the Cubs to finish it off. They have 6 games against Cincinnati, 3 against Pittsburg, and 3 against the Marlins. How much easier do you want it?

I just know how it always goes. Everything is going along all great and then BOOM tradegy strikes. I would like to see the Cubbies win it all, but I'm just glad if the cardinals don't make it. Theyv'e won so many times it just ain't fun to see them there anymore.

I think your dream may have come true... the Cardinals seem to be digging a deeper grave every day for about 2 weeks now...

Yeah, we're pretty much done. My jerseys have already been notified that at the end of this month, they will be properly be cleaned and put away for the winter. Alas, there is no postseason for them.

Talk about determination...

At the end of last night's loss to Philly in post game interviews, most Cardinal players have not given up and swear they are still going to create a miracle comeback and surprise everyone.

I think the key word would be "MIRACLE"... with them being 8 games out of 1st and only 13 games left to play.

I might have more hope if things were like last season and our injured players were all getting healthy at the right time. Losing Carpenter IMO sealed our fate this year. We just don't have the pitching to compete.
