Some people have more money than sense. Wait a few more months and get it at 1/3 the price. "Moon"

If it weren't for guys compensating for their "shortcomings", Porsche, Ferrari, Lamborghini, Mercedes Benz, and a few others would have gone out of business long ago.

That "guy" was Rick Hendrick and this was VIN # 00069 (to honor the 69 model heritage) and the only ZR-1 to be produced with a Carbon Flash Metallic finish.

A few here need to know the details on these cars before they say much. GM and Ford have done these cars with special one off features and often the first one sold to the public. Often they are sold to people like Hendricks and other collectors and the money is all donated to charity.

GM is just helping raise money for different causes and using this way to sell cars like the first ZR1 in a fair game for all and helping others at the same time. The guys spending this money this is just a drop in the bucket and Rick is also one of the biggest givers to charity. He will put it in his collection and more than not display it in the future at his museum.
