Why Can't This Work In North America?

Imagine what would happen in North America!!

I can only imagine the sort of mentality that is required to operate a motor vehicle in congested places like this. 3 minutes of choas and not a single accident or fist fight or heat conversation between motorists.

Aah, nice empty roads, you should see somewhere like Shanghai now, the intersections are like one of those puzzles where there's only one empty space and you move the tiles around until you get them in the right order. Doesn't seem to matter what the lights are doing.

My daughter spend 8 months in India and really enjoyed it. What they didn't show here is that if a cow enters a road - and they walk right around in the streets - everyone stops and lets the cow go through. They are sacred.

Also, this video is on You-tube in standard speed if you want to see it. Go to you tube and click only in India and you'll find it.

As an IT manager, I employ and deal with MANY Indian people and let me tell you, the horror stories they tell about driving would make your skin crawl.

I've worked on a couple of projects in India now and worked with some Indian gentlemen and all of them have told me that the country is great and that I should come and visit. I have yet to actually make a journey out there but a few people in my office have. One of these days hopefully I will go out and see the country, hopefully during this potentially up coming next project.

That kind of looks like the traffic we saw in Turkey. In the back seat of cab you would get thrown all over the place. But, they ran into another vehicle!
