She should be very proud and she already has some rave reviews!
I am sorry I don't read that particular genre so I can't add to them, but what I read was extremely encouraging.
As an ex-newspaper man, and an internationally-published writer, I can tell you nothing is more gratifying than seeing that first written confirmation that your idea was a good one.

I have edited for and published to the Kindle format too and I would suggest that a giveaway occasionally (make the book free for a day or more) helps boost those numbers too.
That option is through the Promote and Advertise button for each work on her Amazon Bookshelf. I try to do it once a year at least for each publication.

I can also tell you writing is not a hobby or an activity so much as it is a sickness that is with one all day and every day and requires help from those around you.
You can be assured that your support of her endeavor, with the kids and fur kids and so forth, is a huge thing to her and you should keep on doing it so she can too!

I'll pass on those suggestions. She already has #2 in the final format stage and working on #3 as well. She had her "official" launch 2 weeks ago in her hometown in NC and has a signing locally on the 20th. I've been trying to give her all the support I can.

Just getting the business end started was fun.....lol
