Wife thinks I lost it
Well the wife thinks I have lost it and gone crazy. We got a small amount of rain todayjust enough to spot everything). So I get home change and back out to take care of the car. Broke out a bottle of Meguiars Quick Detailer and went to work(car looks good again). She come out asking what I was doing and if I was going to do this everytime to gets a little dirty. Told her the baby needs some TLC after getting hint with a rock on the windshield and getting dirty. So now in her mind I am crazy.

You kidding! Of course not! She just doesn't appreciate the relationship we all have with our HHR's. It's a guy thing. We've been doing this since the caveman invented the wheel. lol I wash my HHR every weekend. Wait until you name your HHR. Then she'll think you're certifiably nuts. lol

Absolutely NOT! You're just taking care of your needs. 
Just remember though, the next time your wife comes home after getting "rained on" or little rocks thrown at her, make sure to drop everything you're doing, and give her some of your special TLC.
She will surely stop buggin' you about the ride........

I played it the other way. Told her she hurt my feelings (and yes the car'sfeelings) so she needs to make it up to me and give me some tlc.

The one day I spent 6 hours detailing the engine in my show car (17,000 miles never in snow or rain).
Yea, the G/F thinks I love my car more then her, but she’s getting use to my car love affair.
They will never get us but it is all good. They will accept it eventually

lol, ok my HHR got sprinkled on the other day, after the detail guy had just done my car. No I did not get there to clean it, HUBBY DID! He can't stand it when my HHR gets dirty, and yes he got some TLC for doing it!
