Join the crowd...

St. Louis was blasted with 12 - 14 inches of snow earlier this week. My fiance was stuck in traffic from 12:30pm until 7:30pm in her HHR during the afternoon snowstorm earlier this week.

This winter season has been one of the snowest and icy-est winters I can ever remember here in St. Louis. Every week seems to bring at least 2 frozen storms a week.

WHERE'S ALL THAT GLOBAL WARMING?

Here is what the walkway from our house to the car port looked like on March 5th just before lunch.

There is a set of Adirondack chairs and a table somewhere under that pile on the left (the fence is just over 6 feet high).
It snowed before I had a chance to put them away

Today, in north Florida, we're going to have to take boats to work. But, it's 57 outside with an expected high just south of 80.

P.S. While Phil did see his shadow, that was three weeks ago. So, only 3 week left, right?

I use to live in Los Angeles & wouldn't go back there. I'll take the snow over the real estate market, earthquakes, mud slides, fires, crime, and a-holes.

Call me nuts, but I wish we had snow like that during the winter. We used to get a few snows like that, but not any more!

I'm saddened by the fact no one has assured me that Spring is just down the road........

Must I go visit "another" forum to acquire my much needed solace and reassurance?
