Nice gift, what kind and model? I play a B.C. Rich Rave II custom painted Kandy oriental blue. I need to rebuild it though. I haven't played in a couple of years but Guitar Hero is making me want to start playing again.

Gibson Flyin V, Red and White! I'll post as my avatar when I get off work or mebbe if I can do it at work.....traded my aqua marine sunburst Ibanez Destroyer for it...had the ax since 83, was hard to let it go, but hey, a flying V and a Gibson! Doesn't matter how good you are, just how fast you play! D'OH!

Nice choice of axes Fenris! I almost got a V but I chose the Rave II because it screamed metal to me. It looks like a scaled down Warlock. I love the B.C. Rich Kerry King V. If I played Gibson I would probably go with a SG. My ex-fiancee had one and it was a beautiful guitar. I only play fast and not to good. Oh yeah, Destroyers are cool also.

My brother has a V, SG, Fender Telecaster, and some manic creation he concocted, I hate him! lol I know we have seriously looked at some B.C. Riches and you can't really go wrong with them..I am sure my brother will have one soon...Kerry King...what can you say? He Rulez! Yeah doesn't matter if you are good as long as you have fun!.....and a tolerant spouse or GF/BF (didn't want to exclude any lady jammerz!)

I got a Washburn Acoustics "House of blues" Edition, Model no. HOBA. Not sure what the actual model name is. But I'm still learning to play. It's a beautiful guitar. I love acoustics.
