Are you a car nut?

I’m a car nut. Are you a car nut? This is the first time I’ve ever been able to show that I’m a car nut. This is my first Chevy, and boy, do I love my car. But I’ve had a lot of cars: Falcon, Galaxie, Country Squire (Daddy was a Ford dealer), Fury, Granada, Pinto, Mazda, Laser, Voyager, Opel, Audi, Vue, even a Vauxhall Victor and a TR-6. One thing I never had: a white car. Never had one, never wanted one. But I am in love with the White HHRs – never say never.

I love to see any car that’s been modded, and especially a vintage model lovingly restored from the 40’s. But I can like a Vanagan or a ricer when they are done up cute. I like the sounds of the different cars, and I can appreciate the minivans and the subcompacts for their perfect uses. The huge duellies that show me their ugly springs when we are side by side at a stop light… the little expensive jobbies with their powered convertible tops… the baja bugs… the “lunch boxes on wheels” Scions when they are done up to look like aliens or pink poodles, and yes, the Red Riding Hood PT! Don’t you get a hoot when you see the 97-lb carpool moms driving the Hummers? Doesn’t the sight of a custom grill on any car just perk up your interest?

So I’m asking? Are you a car nut? Show me; tell me...

Yep...I have been one since my first car. That was a '57 Chevy Belair four door.I attend every show I can get to in the South East.I love walking around looking at old cars and remembering when they were new, especially if I used to own one.Getting older does have a few advantages.http://www.carcrazycentral.com/http://weevilcitycruisers.org/

I sure am, I help some of my friends with their cars, I will post some pics later this week, But I have been working on my friends Ford Focus. So far I have installed the ero headlights for him, put windshield wiper lights on, painted his wheel faces black, blacked out the rear logo, Put on a new pass side fender, the next thing to put on is his body kit. But I am a car nut all the way, I love detailing cars! Ask SindyDix shes know, and I always watch the PowerBlock on Spike TV, and Overhaulin!

the first car I bought was a 1974 ford pinto station wagon for 400 bucks, and the first thing I did was take it to our local cruising strip and raced it. If thats not a car nut (or just a nut) I don't know what is lol. And yes i even won a race or two.
