I love the old flatheads. I truck with a guy that went to Australia with his wife right before this virus started, They went to a big Mopar show. what a cool vacation...john

Good Stuff.. Faded memories. & Flathead freak here too.

Here's one of mine. Was 45"........ Bored & Stroked to 59" T&O flywheels.. Jim Leineweber re-ground the cams.
Chevy Stainless 6 cylinder valves shortened & re-grooved. # 6 alloy heads.
Pertronix ign. Total Seal Gapless rings. Shaved decks for optimal squish. Ported cylinders.& the list goes on & on.

Nope, just some stock pos. I added a CV carb after the engine up-grade.

Helped a couple of my friends out with HD.
Installed slide bore Mikuni double barrel units, worked well.
Not hard to tune, used that type on many snowmobiles I helped service and tune.

Cat Man- Cool. We used to use British SU (Skinners Union) carbs off MG's & such for Harleys.

Then Harley came out with the CV carb & that was same principle, but much better, design & function..
