Challanger is not a bad looking car but just too big, too heavy and too expensive once you get the good parts. The interior is wrong for the car. It is Charger cheap and at the price they have on this it should be better.

The Camaro is a good size and even with the V6 will be a very good performance car.
Only the trunk opening is too small for most people to put much in. Best performance bargin in this class. Having know someone [a present 4th gen owner] that has driven both the V6 and V8 last may this thing is a light years ahead of the past cars in performance and quality.

The Mustang is every thing the Camaro is but with less power and ugly tail lights.

I love and admire the new Mustangs and the Challenger. But I'm a GM guy through and through. Hands down, a Camaro. I'd even take a V6 Camaro over the others. I'm with c2vette though, I would buy a CTS/V in a heartbeat if it was realistic for me to do so. I had a Catera, and as many issues as those cars had, it was fantastic to drive. I can only imagine how much better the CTS/V is.

Incidently, I don't think there isn't really anything "old school" about the choices other than the names and retro look. The technology on all of them is very modern and miles above thier ancestors.

I cant believe the Mustang has 2 votes.....thats 2 too many

Out of those I'd pick the Camaro, but when I hear American Muscle I think Chevelle or Nova/Chevy II

Definately the Camaro SS!
We are just waiting for a chance to drive one.I have considered doing an updated version of my wifes 79Z28 with white paint and blue stripes and white wheels. They make a replacement spoiler that looks similar to or 79s and get a wrap that mimics the blue stripes. The only drawback is no light blue interior.

Had to go with the Camaro. Sure the challenger is beautiful, but it's a Mopar. After owning a couple of them, I will never, EVER, own another. Talk about a PITA to own.

If you're talking old school muscle for the roughly $35 K those modern cars cost,I'll go for a '67 Olds 442 or '67 Pontiac GTO.

never a Camaro fan...except maybe in 82 when than new style came out in the black and silver....always have liked the Firebird/Trans Am over the Camaro

Nowadays I love the Mustang...haven't really looked into the 2010 but I have driven a new style GT stick and could not stop grinning for a few days...plus Ford went up a few notches in my book by not taking any bailout cash

You obviously don't drive many performance cars if the "Mudtang" makes you grin and remember the bailout is a loan not a freebee. All companies need loans sooner or later. So that they can make a Camaro SS.

The Camaro is being built in the best plant in the world by the best builders anywhere. The Oshawa plant continually wins the important awards for quality and workmanship. Gotta' be the Camaro!!
