2006 Chevy HHR Radiator fan
Relay 50 turns on radiator fan when forced
where does that input come from?
temperature sensor or ECM
temperature GUAGE WORKS FINE?

not coming on
relay energize s fan. Input to relay doesn’t come on

Look at post #2 Fan command comes from ECM. ECM looks at signal from temperature sender/switch to tell fan to come on.

My mistake! Here is the diagram for 2006, SOME have a diode near the fan in the harness.

Hmmm.... still not making sense. Try using more words, we don't charge per word.

You say the relay is energizing the fan, so that means the fan is working. What is the issue? Is the engine overheating?

Fan doesn't normally come on unless I turn on the A/C. OR, engine temp hits 217* F, I do believe.
