5-Year Olds - Any Problems

Hey, '06-ers! Anyone noticing a trend in maintenance after the 5-year mark? We just paid off our '07 so now it's all on us. What are you seeing for maintenance in year 6?

Nothing but the usual HHR quirks here so far. I think I've put a grand total of $130 in repairs in the 2 years I've had my 06.

We bought ours new. Other than replacing the OEM rotors, everything else that had to be repaired including the catylitic converter was done under warranty.

Maintenance or Repairs? Most maintenance is done by miles unless you don't drive many then it reverts to time.

My '06 will be 6 years old in another month. 50,000 miles.

Original brakes and rotors, spark plugs, battery, etc. Plus regular maintenance....oil, filter. Have the GMPP intake with lifetime filter which was cleaned once. Wheel alignment and regular tire rotation and balance. Coolant flush and change, transmission flush. Brake fluid flush and change.

Replaced the tires, fronts struts...springs. Rear shocks and springs with OEM SS components. That's it.

May have "jinxed" myself by providing this info.

08 160,000 and a little more miles. Brakes rotors shocks, stuts, windshield, windshield, floor mats, and it runs like new. oh and since i am out of warranty anyway. I tow a trailer lots and carry way too much weight in it with our business. i am impressed, am going to take it to one million miles

Actual maintenance things(besides all the modding) in the 2+ years I have had this are thermostat, exhaust cam solenoid, end links and CABs. I think thats pretty good. The brakes are original and those are getting replaced when summer gets here. The rotors are really starting to show corrosion going into their 5th winter(only 55k miles though)
