50,000 mile maint.

Okay so my hhr is coming up on 50k
I'm just wondering what thing i. Should be doing around 50k for my car

All I've don't since I got the car at 28k is just oil changes

I'm getting new shocks when I get my springs
And new tires FINALLY! For the 18's I have

So am I missing anything? Like other fluids that I should be changing?

Oh and I'm getting the rotors turned also cuz its about that time

Also I'm thinking about murdering out my hhr. Aka spray paint it black lol
I'm saying that cuz I like my cars to look scary yet sexy with new parts and such.

Oh and cuz my car has A LOT of scratches and dents...

So id fix the dents and just paint it really good with spray paint.

I would say take it to your dealer and have them do what is required by the Owners Manual (page 396) - that way the 50,000 mile service is documented. The 50,000 mile maintenance is as follows. . . Inspect the fuel system for damage or leaks, inspect exhaust system for loose or damaged components, replace engine air cleaner filter, and change automatic transaxle fluid and filter. You might also want the serpentine belt replaced – GM does not state to have that done until the 150,000 maintenance. Have a good day

The tranny does not need to be changed at 50,000 thats a load of bull they are filled for life I would do it though after the 100,000 mile mark.

Auto trans fluid only needs replacement if you drive under "severe service". Otherwise it does not need to be changed at 50K. It says that right in the manual.

57k and nothing but oil changes. I'll do some maintenance at 100k.
