Air filter cross over

It draws air from the engine compartment, so it's not a cold air intake.

Why suck in hot air when you have a factory cold air box.
If you want insulate the box on the car to keep radiant heat away.

Yep. Nothing about that design makes it a "cold" air intake. I especially like how the filter is set at the back of the engine compartment. Right where it can suck in all the heat radiating off the exhaust manifold. And the bracket that mounts to the body. Uhh, what happens as the engine rotates in it's mounts under a load.

Ok, whatever I get, K&N or ? How does this affect the MAS sensor ? Any problems?

I’ve had the K&N FIPK and the drop in filter from them, both are about the same


The extra intake hose helped

Thanks FMG- That is kinda what I thought.. Waste of money.
