Alternator question

I got a alternator with 250000 and looking to replace it so I was wondering would a alternator from a 2011 would work for a 2007 2.2 last ls? I’m not sure if there all the same ..

As far as I know they should be the same, the 2011 might be higher output (better).

You could check easily by comparing part numbers or going to a big box store web site or Amazon or eBay.

The 2007

The 2008 to 2011 alternator

Different part numbers, could be because of higher output, could be different connections

Mitchell says same connector.
Look closely at oldblue's links, they both replace the same number. 495635

I'll guess you folks noticed that the post and plug ins are opposite/different between the 2 alternators.

This is 2007 AC Delco , and the same picture for 2011

So they could be stock photos, some on parts websites show 120 amp some show 130 amp ratings
