Looking for a quality windshield cleaner.
Is it safe to use Windex?

Anyone know if AC Delco makes a quality glass cleaner and if so would it be possible to get a part number for it?

I find Windex streaks

 

I asked if WINDEX brand glass cleaner was safe to use? ( on my windsheild ) Thread was closed??? Wrong forum? Sorry bout that...
Ill purchase the AC Delco product you guys advise, but Im still wondering if its safe to use above mentioned. Streaks? Maybe damage the laminate?
Please advise further?

As I said, I found Windex left the glass streaked. It's safe to use but streaky.

 

Vinegar + water works well. As does rubbing alcohol + water, especially if there is a smoker. During winter a dab of dish soap, unrinsed, helps to keep the condensation away, old taxi driver tip.

 

...and using newspaper prevents lint as well.

 

Car washes hereabouts swear by water and newspaper. Something about the ink polishing the glass.
