Did you forget about https://www.chevyhhr.net/forums/comm...-thread-48833/

They last upwards of 200K, I would not worry about brands.

I just installed a kit from PowerStop, purchased from RockAuto, it included new drums, shoes and hardware including new adjusters.
a much better result then just putting new shoes into the old drums with the old spring and adjusters

https://www.rockauto.com/en/catalog/...oe+kit,1001602

a hint , pop the console and back off the Ebrake cable , makes it much easier to remove the shoe bracket from the axle end of the cable.

I just did the same.Very happy with them.
Hey OB.Do you know if these new adjusters will actually self adjust?Just curious to know if you have noticed a difference.

I have an oil change set for Thursday, I will inspect the rear brakes as always and get back to you.

2007 has a different hardware configuration from 2009-2011. But, none of them work well as a result of good engineering of the suspension. Drum brake self adjusters are designed to work on "Land Yacht" type cars where the center of gravity shifts radically when the brakes are used in reverse.
