Cabin Air Filter

Ive replaced this thing twice in the last couple years. What a pain in the A___!
No room at all to get the old one out and the new one in.

The other day i was on filter # 3 and tried to figure out how I could get that glove box out of the way when i saw the plastic stops that bend outward and as soon as i did, the box spun down and emptied itself all over the floor.

Got the filter installed in less than a minute. Then spent about 15 cleaning up the mess, but this was good!

I found out the same way, with it down it dose make it so much easier to get to. Welcome to the empty the glove box contents on the floor group!

And it tells you in the manual to empty the stuff before you flip the tabs....

Yep....sure helps to read the Owners Manual, sometimes. Might even prevent aggravations like these.

I agree, you always need to RTFM before doing any type of service. This applies to everything, not just cars.
