Hi Stan M, I think the dealer have took it. Usually, I know the filter is always included in that.

I would do it as stated, every year or 12k miles. Since I don't do the mileage, I'm at the years. I replaced it when I bought it, and I just replaced it less than a month ago now. I figure with my asthma and my allergies it can't hurt to replace it.

Thanks for making this post! Out of curiosity I checked my filter, and it looked like the one in the picture above. I'm guessing the previous owner never changed it so it had 69,000 miles on it. I purchased an STP brand filter at Auto Zone for $15.00.

yea i got the car with 16k on it so im guessing the prev owner never changed it......the one in there now has a year on it and it doesnt look good so i might replace it soon....i would change it every year especialy if u have allergies

Oh, and dealer wanted $45 for one, but you can get them at an auto parts store for like $12.
Warning, Warning, Warning empty the glove compartment before triggering the tabs or it will empty it'self.
