Does anyone know if company's such as K&N will be coming out with a filter?? I've had K&N's in everything I've ever driven. Love the product. They "breath" better and are cleanable. Maybe they could make one with a "new car" smell with them! Anyone????????????

That would be great. This is why I buy K&N's. You pay up front to get one, but they are good for life. It's money well spent in my opinion. I'll be interested to hear your results!!!

Please tell me.....is this the coolest car ever?!?!?!

Greetings all.........just wondering what your real thoughts are on this "car". I have owned some pretty serious and cool cars/trucks over the years, but I tell ya, nothing has caught me off guard as much as an HHR!! I've had 60's hotrods, an '81 Z28, '88 Monte SS, S-10 with a 350, several Silverado's heavily mod'd, etc, etc, etc. I find myself looking.....GAZING at my HHR like no other vehicle I have owned. I LOVE the look, the stance, everything. I mean, really, it's just a cool looking 'minivan', but I can't help but think Chevy got the retro thing right. I have liked PT Cruisers, but......(excuse me ladies) thought they looked a little girlie for my liking. HHR I have noticed is driven not only by ladies, younger guys, older guys and everyone in between. Every time I'm in mine driving down the road and I see one, it's a wave or thumbs up!! It's like your own exclusive club that the rest of the world does NOT have a clue on. That's saying something now adays. What are your thoughts?!??!?!?!

These filters sort of look similar to some you can buy form home depot and cut them to size. Is that true?

I changed mine because it was filthy at 9000 miles. It didn't help with the a/.c odor. Smells like somebody barfed in the ductwork.
