change oil soon message

Thanks for telling me that - I've driven mine for over 50,000 miles and never knew how to reset it and neither did my friends --

If ya have an owners manual, it is clearly explained in it..

I think there are online owners manuals here also..

Time before last I used the "gas pedal 3 times" method. This time around I turned on the key (engine not started) Held down the "INFO" and "enter" button for 3 seconds and "Reset oil life?" popped up in the display. I hit "enter" again and and it was reset. ("enter" = <--' looking thing ) Not sure why I didn't have to scroll through other choices in the preference menu to get to oil reset like I have in the past... (The Wizard probably knew I had just changed it's oil )

Different years had different methods but were similar. Check the manual or pump the pedal as was said above.

If the "CHANGE OIL SOON" is lit up the DIC goes to oil life reset automatically when you push info & enter at the same time. It is the Goonies that know.
