If the oil is very dirty, it could clog the screens on the new solenoids.

Chains? like the chains under the engine cover on the left side of the vvt solenoids?

And I just added new oil, but I couldn't like drain it or change the filter because everything was stuck for some reason... could that continue throwing the codes?

I re opened the old thread, let’s not open another can of worms.
you need to change that engine oil and filter.
Also change the timing and balance shaft chains.
Change the camshaft solenoids, if you haven’t yet.
And thank you for the updated report about the transmission code and the shift solenoid being replaced.

If you are unable to change the oil and filter yourself, you need to take it to a shop that can do it properly for you.

Changing the oil and filter at the time you change out the camshaft solenoids is pretty much required unless the oil was just recently changed.

Can't change the oil, but the first post says he changed the camshafts... One of these is much harder to do than the other.

Yeah, I'm confused.

Huh ?
How can you add new oil if you didn't drain out the old stuff ? Or the filter.
This is starting to sound like a lot of mistakes have been made on the maintenance side of things.

I had someone work on my vehicle when I didn't have time to deal with anything, and he apparently used threadlocker on the drain plug and my oil filter cap, so I now need to try and find a way to get them undone without damaging too much.
