control arm brand and part number

Does anyone know what the front lower control arm brand stamp and part number is on the 06 HHR 2LT with the FE5 suspension? I just replaced both front wheel hubs on my 06 I bought a few months ago and it looks like the control arms may have been replaced already. I did a quick search but didn't see an answer. Thanks

I don;t recall ever seeing a brand or part number stamped on them, FE1 & FE3 are functionally identical. The HHR comes from the factory with cast aluminum, many vendors will try to sell stamped and welded steel.

the 2006 HHR 2LT did not have the FE5 suspension. It will be either FE1 or FE3 as per the label in the glovebox. And the part numbers are listed in the Parts List posting.

I recommend rebuilding your arms, just ball joints and the rear bushings to replace!

So why are you asking us?

If they need to be replaced, what difference does original after market make?

...... and actually he didn't even say if he needed to replace them, so really who cares what's stamped on them.

Cliffs51, you really need to stop over-thinking things. The part numbers for various parts including the LCA's is listed in the Parts List thread. Go look it up yourself.
