Where is the cooling fan module located exactly, I ordered the one from the link don brew recommended. Didn't see it right off. Anyone have a picture of location.

I did not recommend anything, I posted a link to one of many listings.
Don't blame me for a defective part. I never have had any dealings with the particular vendor, don't know anything about them. It came up in a quick search.

I pulled up that ad link. The part listed says it’s for a Ford Focus.

Pretty sure the part you need has a part # that ends in 5280. I looked up several and the price ran around $150-250 just for the module.

Way down on page 59 of 117 in the fitment chart is 2011 HHR page 66 has 2010 HHR. But, it says LS Panel, which does not have a control module at all.
I think the $150-250 parts is the entire fan/shroud assembly. Used to be, anyway.

SS has a PWM controller for the fan that does wear out. It is located on the fan shroud with wires on both sides. Not very expensive, here is one on ebay; They also come with a new fan/shroud assembly.

It looks different than the OE. Might not be the correct part.

Here it is on RockAuto.com

Yes this is what I was asking the location, thank you. I pray it not defective, try to get it swapped out here in a day or two. Probably easier to get to underneath the car with that location.
