Replaced the battery, works fine. Yes, I use it as a delivery vehicle. I also drive all a lot for business. However, the mileage is only at 138,242.

I will definitely check the passengers airbag plug. Didn't get a chance to yesterday.

So if the stereo is not to blame, do you think a beginner could plug the stereo in? If so, How?

I am not good with terms, my apologies. Still learning everything. As I work on this, I use YouTube and pray lol. So far, I've done a great job. We didn't lubricate them. I will get to work on that. Thank you.

Could I do all that on my own? Would I need any special tools? I am a beginner but I am pretty Mechanically inclined. Everything I have done so far, I have had no experience and done really well.

How long would it take? Any suggestions on what I should look for if there is a short?

Also, do you have any suggestions on fixing the hazards? I literally poked it too hard one day and it fell back into the dash. By poking it when I was delivering pizza. Need them desperately, but it's funny.

If you stick your fingers into the A/C vents in the center "waterfall" and give it a good yank it comes right off to fix buttons and radios.

Is your radio the Original for the car, is the original wiring harness still back there?

I suspect that all of the problems are related to poorly installed/removed after market equipment.

I am curious; What made a mechanic think "radio" for the engine stopping? I really just don't get the connection.

I haven't had a chance to look so I will be taking a look today. The water fall would be where the hazards are? Was that a joke, or is that what it's called? Sorry, I am still learning all the terms. Either way, it sounds funny.

As far as the connection, the mechanic in (Louisiana) said it was due to the computer (possibly main) being the one that the stereo connects too.

As far as everything but the stereo front, I have no idea on whether it's original parts or not. The stereo itself is the stock model. But that's all I know. I will be checking later.

Thank you for all the help!

The hazard lights switch is in the waterfall and should have 2 screws holding it there

The factory radio is also behind the waterfall

Held in with several 7mm head screws

The radio removed will expose the wiring, now you can determine if it’s been cut and spliced for an aftermarket head unit. Or just left unplugged. Man I gotta play me some Clapton!
