May I ask where you got this oil change done at... I don't usually take stuff in for oil changes, but I'll make sure to avoid them...

The jack stand points I use are right on the bright bolts that hold the lower suspension member onto the frame. When you jack it up and look under there they stand out.
I can't make mine go up ramps without installing stops on my garage floor! But, oil change does not "require" elevating, if I would lose a few pounds. literally ROF-L!

I get my AC Delco filters at the auto parts @ $4.99 w/ O-rings..

Don't forget a magnetic drain plug..

PS: I wrap one wrap of teflon tape on the drain plug threads, always easy off..

Ah, ok. I was hoping it wasn't Patsy Lou... Just got a coupon for a $9 oil change there and gave it to my friend, who I usually change the oil for anyways... I don't want to have her get it done there so that I can't get the bolt back off on her Saturn! When they did it at RPM when she bought the car it was on so tight I don't know how they didn't bend the oil pan or anything...

Purolator has been around for a very long time, safe to use I would say.

Hi there use a 6 point box end wrench or socket and make sure the head is completly clean and not allready worn out on the outer edges if the bolt head is good and you are using the correct size 6 point wrench or socket with one hand holding the tool firmly
on the head and with the other hand use allyour body weight like a impact to jar the bolt
loose if you try to use constant pressure the bolt may not comeout. some times you can gently tap the wrench with a hammer slightly and break it loose. make sure you replace
the oil drain plug sealing washer or o-ring lube with some old oil and the plug should seal good and come out easy next time.
