GM certified preowned 2 year free oil change?'s

When I purchased my ss certified preowned I was told that it came with 2 years free oil changes.
The dealer told me that they will only change the oil when the computer actually says to change oil.
I have put about 7000 miles on it and have had it for a year now.
I changed the oil at 5000 out of my pocket since the car has bad the oil changed at 5000 miles since day 1
I just talked to another dealer asst service mgr.
He said even though I am showing 29percent oil life left they will change it and I am actually alloted about 2 changes per year?
Thkught I

2 changes a year is still a questionable policy as it depends on how many miles you drive.

I also have a Certified program on one of my HHR's and I just tell them not to reset the DIC oil change so I can change in between the free ones and pay for it myself if I want to.

Well had it changed for free guess there is something in the fine print about 12000 miles or 12 months if the change oil dic does not come on.
As I mentioned I change it every 5000 regardless.
Heck on my car in the avatar I may change it every few miles if I am at the track.

They use Dexos if it's a 2011 and what ever that Dealer normally uses otherwise.
My Dealer offered to use what ever I want but there's a difference of an upcharge over there regular product.

I have the service on my 2011. Sounds good, free oil changes for 2 years but the catch is you have to run it down to 29% before you get that free oil change. For me that works out to around 9000 miles. I would never run dyno oil that long. So Mobile 1 went in last weekend and I paid for the oil change. Seeing my HHR is still under warranty I let the dealer do the work. I have a record of it and I got piece of mind it is done before summer.

Has any of the dealers told you guys about a "GRAPHITE ADDITIVE" ? I questioned it, it sounded odd, so he said "well we put it in our Callaway Edition Vettes." that 120g worth of car.. Callaway kit is an extra 32g on top of the MSRP.. but id rather hear a more trustworthy educated oppinion!
