For guys that did transmission fluid change
I just purchased a "transmission filter kit" from Advance for around $20. It's got a filter and a pan gasket.
My estimation of re using an after market gasket has changed, that thing is thin with no ribs or metal inner lining. I will probably re use the OE gasket.
I did re use the OE gasket. The 2011 had 2 donut magnets on the pan instead of the 1 square magnet on my 2008. I noticed a fair asmount of gray sludge in the pan, comments? The ATF was still "red-ish" after 96,000 miles, but closer to black.
I do notice a difference in shifting, but that may be because I put almost a quart more in than came out. I have added a ATF cooler since I got the car, and seems to have a small leak on the R side axle seal.

Simply put: drain it, refill it.
Assuming you have the GETRAG , close to the same on MU3
drain the bottom hole. fill at the top hole. Big arrow toward front of CAR.
The correct fluid (Dexron VI) is going to cost around $40 a gallon, you need 7 quarts. If you have a shop do it be sure they use Dexron VI, that is full synthetic several different brands make it.
