Haze on paint

Hey guys,

I have a black 06 that has developed a hazey white on the paint. I know that I haven't been keeping up with the waxing as much as I should and this is probably the cause. My question is how do I get rid of it. I tried waxing by hand and it dulled it a little bit but was still noticeable enough to be a pain. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Have you tried buffing it out? You can buy a kit that with a disk that goes on your drill. It works well for scratches, but you have to be careful not to go to deep in the paint.

No I haven't tried buffer. I figured that is what I would have to do. I'm just not sure what kind of pad/compound to use

Also should I use a clay bar before I buff?

If it's on the paint as opposed to in the paint, clay bar may get rid of it...... If not clay bar is a good pre-step to buffing so not a waste of time or materials.

Clay bar is Deffinately getting It cleaner. The hazieness is still there though so I think it will need a buff. Any suggestions on what type of pad/compound?
