Heater blower fan

How do I change a resister pack on 2006 HHR?

The blower motor resistor is located underneath the right side of the dash. Remove the right side panel below the glove compartment. Then remove the wire from the resistor, remove retaining screws.

And, fix the butyl patch that caused the failure.

We've had our 06 over 7 years and we haven't had to replace the motor or the resistor, only the butyl patch. Maybe we caught ours before it could do any damage.....



P.S. It appears that judy1bob hasn't been here since the posed the question (3 posts in 3½ years?). I hope they got it figured out......
