Talking Rear Hatch Gas Lift Supports

Just installed a pair of StrongArm lift gate hatch supports and what a great improvement! My hatch would stay up but I had to manually lift it all the way up. Since I only have had my car a couple of months I didn't know if that's the way they were, or should spring-up with just a little assistance.

After some research I ordered the Strongarm Lift supports from Lift Support Depot off of eBay. #6123 $43.00 delivered. Rated at 89lbs. of lift. Good investment! Release the hatch and a slight tug and it pops way-open higher than before so no head banging I hope, like before. Two thumbs up for this product.

My EAGLE EYES HEADLIGHTS (W/PRO-B2E), and New bulbs came today so I will be removing my front SS bumper cover tomorrow for the install. Wish me luck and watch for a follow-up.

Our always would 'spring up' when opened. About opening higher; while more clearance under the hatch is a plus what you'll have to watch now is overhead clearance when opening the hatch somewhere like in a garage.
