semi metallic brake pads

I'm trying to find semi metallic brake pads for my 2009 LT. I have always gotten brand name on RA. I have notice that RA's selection of semi metallic pads has become slim to none. My last brake pad purchase was a set of Wagner thermo quiet semi metallic and all they have now are ceramics. I am trying to find a part number for those pads but unfortunately that purchase was way more than 10 purchases on RA. I was hoping I could locate a set elsewhere with the part number. Autozone and Advance seem to be migrating over to all ceramic as well. I really don't want ceramic. This HHR already eats rotors. I think the semi metallic stops much better. I'm not throwing some kind of economy brand on either. Has anyone tried the duralast semi metallic pads?

I use the PowerStop Z17 ceramic pads, no problem with eating rotors

I see several semi metallic pads listed at RA

My experience is that semi-metallic pads eat rotors. Ceramic is recommended.

Semi-metallics are hard to find because they are no longer much cheaper that ceramics, which are better. Give ‘em a try.

While I liked the way ceramics worked, they all squealed when cold and wife would not stand for it.

I never heard a squeal in 300,000 miles.
