Shifter Cables Don't Fit

I purchased new shifter cables for my 2008 LT. I thought it was part #15277760 and the cables I received are labeled as such. However, the plastic pins that go into the shifter seem to be thicker than the originals and won't go in the clips.

What came off the car, the cables were 4.7mm diameter and the plastic tips 7.6mm. What I purchased the cables were 5.0mm and the tips 8.1mm.

Amazon shows they fit all these:
  • Replace Part Number: 15277760, 5125630733
  • Fit for 2005-2017 Chevrolet Cobalt, for 2006-2011 Chevrolet HHR
  • Fit for 2007 Pontiac G5, for 2005-2006 Pontiac Pursuit
  • Fit for 2004-2007 Saturn Ion
Is there a different part number I should be looking for?

That’s the correct part number.

I get this number from GMPartsGiant 15939191. Amazon thinks it is literally made of gold at $532, Ebay has it for around $200

We’re dealing with an LT 2.2 Donbrew , not an SS LNF
