Spark Plug Replacement

I have a 2008 Chevy HHR 2LT & need to replace the Spark Plugs. My fiancée's coworker who's an auto mechanic has offered to take out the old ones & put in new ones. I have to provide him with the Spark Plugs to do the work, but I have a small problem... I don't know how many spark plugs I need. All help with this is appreciated!

And, best to stick with those factory original type AC Delco iridium plugs. Don't cheap out and buy another brand because, some HHR's just don't tolerate "off brand" plugs.

Guess I should acquire some plugs for my HHR as it's getting up there in miles. They've never given me any problems so I haven't bothered with them. The car has 173,000 miles on it but the head was exchanged at about 89,000 and I don't know if they replaced the plugs when they did the warranty work or not. I'll be hitting the road tomorrow and by the time the car makes it back home it'll have over 175,000 on it. Not sure how long these cars will go but we like it better than any current offerings so are just keeping it for now.

Does your wife know (or care) how many spark plugs are in her car? I doubt if mine does. Now, that doesn't apply to all women but it's safe to say it applies to most......

Some folks say not to use the platinum plugs in an HHR but mine runs just fine with them.

When I was working on cars you really needed to change plugs around every 10,000 miles. The new ones last lots longer.
