My replacments last as long or in some cases longer.

Delco's used to be good but since my 04 GTP I have not gotten more then 4 years out of them. I am down Two OE Delco's this year alone.

I used to be their biggest promoter but I can't say I would recomend one anymore. My old Delco;s were good for 10-17 years and my Ultima batteries are going 10 years so far.

I'll give another update since it's been about a year of the last update.

I'm currently on another vacation (NO, Miami, Sanibel Island). Departed home on Jan. 20th.....HHR was driven 2 days before. I expect to return late the night of Feb. 2. (big Super Bowl party the next day). So I MAY start the HHR that day, or maybe the next. I still have the OEM Delco in the '06 HHR and the '08 Vette (which hadn't been driven for about a week before leaving). It will be interesting to see if I experience any trouble starting either of these vehicles as well as the 2 other "everyday" vehicles.

Will provide a follow-up then.

I still have the orginal AC Delco Battery from July 2007. Starts up everytime without even a blink. This week has been sub zero temps, and I've got to say, I love the remote starter more and more..

OK, since this thread is resurrected again......

Went out today and the '06 HHR started right up (still on OEM battery after 1 month short of 7 years.

The '08 Vette.....I had a problem. The DIC indicated. "No FOB Detected". So I thought, ahh hell the FOB battery finally pooped out. Went and got FOB # 2 and got the same message. Took the HHR for the errand.

Came back, changed clothes to work on the Vette. Got in to pop the hood and thought, one more try. It started right up. Found out later that my cell phone, which I didn't have on the return try, may have provided interference (the FOB and cell were in the same pocket).
GM makes reference to this in the Owners Manual.

Wife's SRX started right up and the "do all" truck started right up. So, I still can't B$$$H about Delco batteries. After sitting for 14-18 days without use, all vehicles are fine.
