Lightbulb Tires, California

Hi. I will need to replace my tires soon. I have a 2009 LT. I am more interested in a QUIET ride than anything. I don't live in extreme weather (California-no snow, short rainy season), and I'm not a fast car driver or someone who will "exercise" her HHR.
I see a lot of "top ten" lists as to the quietest tires, but I'd like to hear from people who actually own HHR's what their experience has been.
Thank you.

Many have asked the question and got many different answers. Favorite brands are like belly buttons.

Was looking for a few of those answers as a starting point. Thanks for um. Yeah. This might not be the forum for me. Maybe over my head and best left to the pros like you. Think I'll just take my not-so-savvy self back to Pinterest. Thanks.

Welcome!

Or you could notice the SEARCH box, and use it.

This forum has been around since 2005, there have been many thousands threads started with lots of information available for the searching.

"favorite brands" is a sure way to get lots of responses. But this forum does not give points for that, in fact, some would call it "trolling". If that is your point then maybe pinterest is better. If you want to learn about your HHR this is the place.

I got 10 pages of results by typing "tires" into the SEARCH BOX. Here is a link to the results: https://www.chevyhhr.net/forums/esp_...=tires&type=vb

You could narrow those down by adding words to the search phrase.

Here's one for you that would do the job.

Firestone Precision Touring Tire.
It is not made in 215/55R/16 which is standard on the LS and LT Models
but it is made in a 205/60R/16 91H version which will work just as well.
In fact it will add comfort to the ride quality because of the higher Aspect Ratio. I run that size on 2 of my HHR's and they work great.
If you have a 2LT model with 17" tires and wheels they do not show that size available.
That would be my choice with your needs/wants.

I prefer BFGoodrich Advantage TA's
So glean some info and make your choice.
Enjoy the ride!
