Transmission jumping?
yes the misfire code comes and goes
For the P0010, P0011 you'll need to replace the actuator solenoids. Easy job.

Hmm. Don't see a misfire code.

just did some reading up on the misfires, why do you say that about the catalytic converter? Does it correlate to the misfire? Main concern is still fixing the gears shifting too hard, but if within my price range I’ll take care of the misfire as well.
To explain a little more, the car goes into that "limp" mode scenario because of the codes lit up. It's the onboard computers way of telling you something is wrong...by giving you the harsh shifts.
okay Thank you, that’s my fault for not understanding what you previously said. Well now I’m going to try and fix all the codes I have and see if that helps.
P0010 is a problem with the intake solenoid circuit. It could be bad wiring or connectors but it’s almost always a bad solenoid valve It’s probably causing P0011. You’ll get lots of opinions telling you to replace both solenoid valves but solenoid coils do not have a terribly predictable life and I think replacing the other one too is a waste of effort and money with this code. If you were getting P0011 only, that would suggest a gummed up valve, and then I would replace both (and change the oil more often.)
I don’t know too much about P0030 but I would check wires and connectors carefully before replacing the upstream O2 sensor.

I don’t know where you got that info but when talking about Ecotecs SO many people say “sensors” when they’re talking about those solenoid valves, because they’re parroting one another in an echo chamber and have no idea what they're talking about.
