What is checked in the 27 point free inspection?

Now that I have the HHR I have an appointment to get the multi-point inspection done. What do they check when doing the 27 pt. inspection. Thanks in advance, Jim

They found my leaky rear shocks during my 27pt. I'd imagine that they mostly check belts, hoses, brakes, suspension, tires, hangers, etc. Anything that they'd be happy to fix for you...for a nominal fee.

I believe this varies by dealer, but the typical includes:
belts, hoses, tires, brakes, fluids, suspension items, battery, filters, wipers, etc.
As Smoothhr said, anything they would be glad to fix for a fee.
If you are not mechanically inclined it isn't a bad thing to have done, but beware that they WILL probably find things that THEY think should be repaired/replaced, that may actually have a lot of life left in them. Fluid top-offs are usually included.
Hope that helps.

27 point insp.

I eas very happy with this i also had my new remote programed, at just over 43,000 miles my brakes are at 50% I had to go out of town as the Chevy dealer in Hemet I would never even let them do anything to my HHR,

I do have the balance of my bumper to bumper left. So I want to make sure if anything is going or on its way out, I can get it fixed at their expense not mine. Thanks everyone for the input so far.

Definitely take advantage of the warranty if you still have it. I always take their suggestions, check with my buddy who is a mechanic to see if he agrees, then fix it myself. Putting my shocks (kyb's) on tonight, actually.

The inspection depends on the attitude of the inspection person.......
Find someone who knows what they are doin' and that you can trust.
