What spark plug to use? brand and part number

There are virtually 15 plus choices for the 2.2 engine at auto parts stores. What plug is suggested for this engine. A/C Delco has 3 different part numbers listed and the parts store sez " fits your HHR" It's been about 65k since I changed them and Im going to clean the throttle body this week and thought I'd toss in a set of plugs at the same time. It runs fine now, no codes. thanks.

AC Delco 41-103 Iridium spark plugs. The engine was designed for these plugs only. Torque to 15 foot pounds.

No there aren't.

Every maker of aftermarket parts wants to sell more of their junk so they give the parts houses a list every car it could possibly be wedged into.

"Fits" is a weasel word. Intended to deceive. Just because fits doesn't mean the outcome will be good. And sometimes, it's a screwup and it doesn't even really fit.

Do NOT trust the listings at parts purveyors.

I wonder how many thousand times that has been said on this site. 41-103 they last for a minimum of 100,000 miles. Don't try to measure the gap, they are set out of the box and you will break the whisker.
At parts stores you need to know that the counter guys get a commission on selling certain brands; depends on the month which one they will "recommend".

Of course, a quick look in the Owner Manual would have answered the question. Don't have one? Link in my sig.

at Rockauto, I saw that when purchasing these spark plugs, some money is returned to a bank card.
A very enjoyable option, we don't have this.

Yes, it's a nice rebate. Last year it was to end on December 31 so I bought a set I didn't need quite yet for 2 different cars. Then they repeated what seems to be more or less the same rebate this year. Download, print, and mail in a form with receipt (or submit on line,) and get $3 per iridium plug, maximum 16 plugs, maximum $48. The form says you'll get a check.

for the last time... no, I didn’t buy it because I didn’t need it,
but I noted this for myself at a well-known Chinese site,
price per piece is approximately 3.85 USD with free shipping.

It looks very touching how the Chinese carefully hide the brand

I've heard of counterfeits. Offering rebates with receipt required is a great way to track them down.

We just saw one where both electrodes, complete with center insulation, disappeared into the engine.
