As stated, can anyone provide the wiring diagram information for the wires in the six slot connecter that is for the HVAC blend door motor?

Studying how it works in comparison to similar blend door motors in other vehicles. They seem to revise the wiring pinout but the units physical mounting, function, and range are identical.

For both blend door motors, it appears that..

slot 5 Positive voltage feed, key on
slot 6 control, from hvac knob
slot 7 Ground
slot 8 no pin, not used
slot 9 position (for external feed back)
slot 10 5 volt refence, (for external feed back)

Not sure about how the external feedback works. It might throw a code if blend motor does NOT follow command? Earlier vehicles did not have feedback included.
It is possible wire 6 and 9 are transposed, test pending.

 

A lot of sub systems in cars come from common vendors. I would not be surprised to find that any given sub system in a HHR is also found in a Ford with slight alterations. There are only so many ways to do some things. Especially since the Delco spin off.
